How to Use Doodle
Doodle is a Swiss online calendar tool. Founded in 2007, it has offices in Berlin, Tel Aviv, and Belgrade. Since its creation, the company has grown to include people from more than 150 countries. You can view your Doodle in the calendar pane and see when something is due, based on your location. Once you’ve entered the date and time, you can view it and print it out, or share it with others.
To enter the Doodle contest, students need to be enrolled in a U.S. school or be a permanent legal resident of the United States. After school programs and parents of military personnel living abroad can also participate. Children can enter more than one Doodle in the contest, but each entry must be unique. Winning schools will receive a $50,000 technology prize. This is a great way to get more kids involved in your organization or school.
Another way to use Doodle is to create polls. Instead of asking friends and family to rate an event, you can also create a poll to get their opinions. All you have to do is enter the names of the people you want to reach, tick the availability boxes, and add comments. After a week, you’ll see the results and know how popular the date or time is. And the best part? You can make your poll public and let people vote on it!
Signing up for Doodle is free. The free version of Doodle includes more features than the paid version. To use Doodle, you can register by email, Google, or Facebook. You can verify your email address after confirming it. Then you can invite your friends and family to view your Doodle. Then, you can send notifications to those people who are part of your group. All this happens automatically. The benefits are clear and you can see how easy it is to use this online calendar.
